- Positano Jet charges an additional fee for each bag, regardless of size. There is no restriction on the number of bags you can bring.
- With Alicost and Alilauro Gruson, you can bring 1 piece of luggage up to 9 kg, with maximum dimensions of 50x35x20 cm, free of charge.
- On Grassi Junior vessels, there are no specific limits for luggage.
- With Cooperativa S. Andrea, you can bring 1 piece of luggage free of charge, with maximum dimensions of 45×35×20 cm. For additional or larger luggage, you can purchase an extra baggage allowance when booking your tickets on Ferryhopper.

Ferries to Amalfi depart from Capri’s port on the north side of the island, in Marina Grande.
How to get to the port of Capri
The port of Capri is connected to the rest of the island by funicular, bus and taxi (private cars are not allowed on the island for non-residents).
- From Capri town (La Piazzetta): the fastest option is the funicular, which reaches Marina Grande in about 4-5 min., with departures every 10-15 min. from 6:30 to 23:00. Alternatively, you can take the SIPPIC bus.
- From Anacapri: you can take the direct Anacapri - Marina Grande bus, or take the bus to Capri and then continue by funicular. The journey takes about 25 min., with departures every 30 min.
- From Marina Piccola or other areas: you can use the local bus services connecting Capri and Anacapri, with intermediate stops and, if necessary, a transfer in Capri or Anacapri.
The island's iconic open-top taxis serve all areas accessible by road. You can find them at the port, near La Piazzetta, in Anacapri and at Marina Piccola. They are more expensive than public transport, but are a convenient option, especially if you're travelling with lots of luggage.
