Ferry from Kissamos to Kythira

Where to take the ferry from Kissamos to Kythira

Starting from Crete, ferries to Kythira depart from the port of Kavonisi-Kissamos, located about 2 km outside the town. This port is the main ferry link between Crete and the Peloponnese.

The port of Kissamos is about 38 km west of Chania, which is about 40 minutes by car. There are also frequent intercity-bus departures from Chania to Kissamos.

Close to the port, you can find a WC, boat-rental services, a picnic spot, as well as a shop with traditional products.
